  Direction of bedroom, according to Vastu

The master bedroom should ideally be located in the south-west corner of the home, as it is linked with good health, longevity and prosperity. North-west is also a good option and suits the guest bedroom or your children’s bedroom best. Bedrooms in the south-east or north-east corners must be avoided as these can lead to health issues and conflicts at home.

You can place the mandir in the living room or the kitchen — but make sure it is in the northeast direction of your home.

It’s not a good idea to have a mandir in the bedroom. However, if you must, then install it in the north-east area of the bedroom. Also remember that your feet should not point towards the mandir when you’re sleeping.
